This project called for a large set of individually illuminated letters “Waterfront” with a strapline under, all to cover an area of approximately 9m x 3m at second floor level.
The client found difficulty in visualising the finished job from the full colour photographic representations provided by the designer so we were asked to provide a full size mock-up on a 9m x 3m banner. This was duly manufactured, installed, viewed by the clients from the bridge and approved. Surely the largest sign proof ever!
The sign itself comprised built up descaled stainless steel individual letters (the “W” at 2m in height), all stove-enamelled blue, all with internal blue low-voltage LED illumination to provide a halo lighting effect.
